Promise Me the Sunrise

Waking up to a sunrise on a sailboat resets something deep inside the soul. It omits city noise and provides a soundtrack of wind and water, painting over darkness and bringing colors of fire and gold. For Ledger Holloway, the world feels less complicated when there is nothing but the ocean surrounding him. That is, until a girl with red hair and no fear jumps into his boat to escape her overbearing father.
Ledger knows a thing or two about that. It's the trauma from his father's domineering attitude and then his untimely death that has him seeking wisdom from solitude. This girl interrupts his determined drive to find out who he is inside, having suppressed it his entire life.
Suddenly, he finds himself focusing on helping her find a touristy town to live and work in, thinking he's doing a good deed for a stranger. He nicknames her Raider because he is adamant about not sharing names or personal details. But with this good deed comes risks.
One that plants both of them in the middle of danger when her father hires people to retrieve her. The other risk is to his heart.
